Meet our staff

Linda PriviteraThe Rev. Dr. Linda Privitera was born in Pittsburgh, PA and moved to Washington, D.C where she attended high school and did her undergraduate work in nursing, graduating with a bachelor’s degree and working in a hospital complex in Richmond, VA. Raised a Methodist, it was here that Linda moved towards the local Episcopal parish. She married and had three daughters; her former husband moved the family to Kansas, Connecticut and Massachussetts in an Air Force role, and they eventually separated. Linda+ underwent seminary training at Yale University Divinity School, and was in the second graduating class of female ordinations. She achieved a certificate in Anglican Studies from Berkeley Divinity School. She was a priest in the Episcopal Church for 20 years, serving urban parishes with the most recent in Arlington, MA. Linda+ achieved her doctorate in congregational development from the Episcopal Divinity School in Cambridge, MA. In her private time Linda+ is an artist (with the Foyer Gallery), an avid gardener, reader of mysteries, spouse to her partner Melissa, a mother, grandmother, sister and friend.
